Basque Wines

We have to admit this class may have been a little selfish on our part. We have been dreaming about doing a class on the Basque regions for years and it is finally here! The Basque Country wine region is an autonomous community in northern Spain. This particular area of the wine world is not only beautiful, but has a culture as unique as the varieties of wine they produce. We can’t wait to taste with you and teach you about what makes this region special. We have 3 different wines from each of 3 different wine regions in Basque. Be prepared for mind boggling spellings, crisp and refreshing wines, and some new dishes to put in your arsenal for your next dinner party.

What you might not realize, however, is that Pinot Grigio and Pinot Noir are color mutations of the same grape. In this class we breakdown the differences between each wine and give you the inside scoop on just how these very different wines came about. It is one of our favorite varieties to share with you and the world. It has a great history from France, but can be seen in the long history of Spain as well. In this class we will share with you everything Cab Franc has to offer. We have 3 examples of Cab Franc from around the world that will open your palates to what this wine can offer. What is Crush It Wine Society?
Crush It Wine Society is a new kind of wine club. We focus on supporting small batch, sustainable wineries all over the world. Each wine is hand selected by our team and includes detailed information about the wine, the region and more so you can learn as you sip.
When will I get my Wines?
Each Release / Virtual Class is on the third Thursday of every month. Classic Members will be charged on the Monday before the release week. Annual Members pay for a full year in advance.
What if I can't make it to one of the live classes?
While we always love to have you there with us live, don't worry if you aren't about to make it to a live class. We will send out a recording of the class to everyone the next day. Plus, you have access to our Members Video Vault which has the videos of all past live classes and our extra mini masterclasses. That means you can watch on your own time and re-watch whenever you want!
When does the membership end?
Crush It Wine Society is an ongoing membership. You will continue to be charged for new releases until you decide to cancel. Cancellation requests must be received in writing at least 10 days prior to the next charge date. If you need to pause or skip your membership we're happy to help with that too. Just email us at [email protected] and we will set it up for you.
The Fine Print:
All orders, shipping and delivery, require someone 21+ to be available to receive the delivery. Please keep this in mind when filling out your shipping address. $18 Flat Rate shipping on your shipments is currently available for California, Oregon, Washington, and Nevada. If would like us to ship to a different state please contact us and we are happy to work with you to come up with a flat rate option that will work for you.

We’ve said it before and we will say it again. One of the best ways to learn about wine is to taste it! As our first class of 2023 we thought we would give you all a challenge and teach you how to blind taste wines. You do not need to be able to blind taste wine in order to enjoy it, but it will teach you skills to level up your wine tasting game. Not to worry, we are going to teach you all of the tips and tricks to evaluate each wine, and make your best educated guess. So grab your friends and family and have a fun night centered around wine and a whole lot of fun.
